About Dave

If you have ever attended a service that Dave Seratt has been a part of, you will very early and very clearly hear him say that it is not all about Dave Seratt but rather it IS all about Jesus. It is upon this solid foundation that God has blessed and prospered in Dave's life and in his ministry. He has spent much of the last decade traveling throughout the Southeast proclaiming the saving power of Jesus Christ and carrying the message of God's love to anyone who will listen.

Dave was born in small town in Michigan but, at the age of 10, his family moved to Dyersburg, TN. It wasn't until some years later that Dave would realize the call that God had for his life and the path which he would travel. As a young child growing up, there were no illusions of stardom or visions of being an artist but God had other plans. While attending a Michael Combs concert, God changed his life and gave him a new beginning down a more refreshing and rewarding path. It was that night that would change his life forever and set his feet on a new path that God would direct. He began ministering wherever a door was opened to him and, to this day, that has not changed. Dave's intent is to not be a Gospel music entertainer but rather a Gospel music evangelist with the sole purpose of praising the name of Jesus Christ.

He is self-proclaimed "Northern-born but Southern-bred." It is through soulful delivery, smooth vocals and divine assistance that he has developed a distinctive and dynamic style in his ministry. His ability to deliver a foot-stomping, soul-rousing song is matched only by his incredible talent to croon a power ballad that will not only have you listening but will make you feel as though you were right in the middle of the song. His rendition of Michael Combs, It Was Me, has become a favorite of not only fans but artists alike. The delivery is powerful and resonates through the incredible message written in the song. It is this passion for the ministry and the music, that allow his listeners to feel comfortable and accept the gift of song that God has sent through him. It is not about being "the man" but more importantly about being "the vessel."

Dave currently resides in Jackson, TN with his lovely wife, Becky

His most recent project, I See Jesus, debuted in 2013 and includes songs such Didn't I Walk On The Water, The Lighthouse, Believe and Suppertime. The project also introduces some great new songs such as God's Still Working Miracles and He's One of a Kind
